INDIANAPOLIS (WISH/WOOD) — A new tool from Google might help you pick a unique Halloween costume.
Google Frightgeist analyzes online search trends on both the local and national level.
“Every day, over 3 billion searches take place on Google, and Google Trends gives us an unparalleled look at what the world is searching for,” the Frightgeist website explains.
So what costumes are big in West Michigan? According to the Frightgeist, a pirate is the most popular in Grand Rapids, followed by a princess, a dinosaur, Minions and Minnie Mouse.
In other parts of Michigan, Daenerys Targaryen, Renaissance garb, Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz” and Batman are popular.
