Police warn Kent Co. residents of vehicle, garage break-ins

KENT COUNTY, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are investigating several recent vehicle and garage break-ins in Kent County.

According to a Thursday release from the Kent County Sheriff’s Department, there have been break-ins along 10 Mile Road NE and NW in the townships of Alpine, Algoma and Plainfield over the past couple of days.

The break-ins have been occurring around 11 p.m. through 6 a.m.

Police say unlocked vehicles are being targeted. They remind people to keep all vehicles locked and keep valuables out of sight or not in the vehicle.
