MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people face attempted murder charges after allegedly attacking a man at a cemetery in Muskegon.
Lennell Banks, 20, and Loretta Fettig each face charges of conspiracy to commit murder and assault with intent to commit murder, Muskegon County Assistant Prosecutor Tim Maat confirmed.
On Nov. 3, authorities allege, the pair lured a 22-year-old man into a Muskegon cemetery, where his throat was sliced.
There is no word on the victim’s condition.
Authorities say one of the suspects helped plan the assault and offered to help with the attack, while the other actually attacked the man. They did not immediately clarify which suspect was accused of which role.
