Man accused of trying to shoot ex-wife arrested

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS/WOOD) – A man accused of trying to shoot his ex-wife in Jackson County has been arrested in Kalamazoo.

Jackson County Sheriff Steve Rand says Aaron Lee Norris was arrested by the Michigan State Police Fugitive Team.

Norris was found on a Greyhound bus in the Kalamazoo area.

He was arrested Tuesday and taken to the Jackson County Jail.

On Sunday, Norris allegedly shot his ex-wife’s truck with a 12-gauge shotgun when she was leaving a friend’s house.

The woman has a personal protection order against Norris.
