GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) The season of giving is here, and the Salvation Army Angel Tree and Red Kettle campaigns are officially under way. The programs make it possible for families in West Michigan to celebrate the holidays with gifts, meals, and support.

There’s a new way to give to the Red Kettle. The Season Pass Pin allows you to give a one-time donation and receive a Season Pass Pin. Wear it proudly on your coat throughout the season and Red Kettle bell ringers will know you’ve already provided your donation. Click here to purchase a Season Pass Pin.

You can also give back by going to a Grand Rapids Griffins game. The Red Kettle Game is on Friday, November 20 at Van Andel Arena. Tickets are $23 each. Six dollars of each ticket sold will support programs and services at The Salvation Army. Click here to learn about purchasing tickets.

Angel Tree is still looking for host sites to serve as drop-off locations for gifts. To sign up, click here. If you need assistance this season and would like to receive help from the Salvation Army, call 211 to see if you qualify.
