The Grand Rapids International Wine, Beer and Food Festival

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) A big event is taking over DeVos Place November 19 through 20. The Grand Rapids International Wine, Beer and Food Festival is bigger and better than ever before for the eighth annual event.

New at the festival this year is Beer City Station. Visitors can sample nearly 300 craft beers and 100 ciders from around the world. The craft beer movement has exploded, allowing people to see beer in a different light – as a culinary experience to be savored and sampled.

The festival is a great place to learn about new experiences. There are workshops every hour, on the hour, with interactive experiences involving wine, beer, spirits, and food. There is no extra charge for workshops. See a schedule here.

Head to the center of The Vineyard at the festival for a taste of some truly exquisite wines. The Elite Collection features 45 of the finest wines in the world. It’s a great opportunity to sample fine wines without having to pay big bucks for a whole bottle. Elite samples require a ten ticket tasting fee due to their cost.
