PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Kent County Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Metropolitan Enforcement Team busted three dispensaries Wednesday for allegedly selling marijuana illegally.
Investigators conducted multiple undercover operations after receiving tips from concerned citizens.
Authorities secured search warrants Wednesday and found marijuana and drug related items in the businesses located at:
- 4290 Plainfield Avenue, Plainfield Township
- 4564 West River Drive, Plainfield Township
- 5260 Northland Drive Suite F, Plainfield Township
The workers were interviewed by police and later released.
The cases will be presented to the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office for review of possible charges.
