Salvation Army teen program in need of gift cards

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – The Salvation Army is in urgent need of gift cards for teenagers.

The Salvation Army Angel Tree Toy Drive provides Christmas gifts for children around West Michigan who would go with out Christmas gifts this year.

Teenagers can be difficult to buy Christmas Gifts for and donating gift cards can really help the Salvation Army. Angel Teen is part of that program that gives teenage kids gift cards.

Next week many of the Salvation Army corps around West Michigan will begin distributing and they are down almost $10,000 worth of Gift Cards.

WOOD TV8 has been partnering with the Salvation on the Angel Tree Toy Drive campaign for 25 years and we are asking our viewers to help by donating $20 gift cards. Drop off the gift cards at any of the Angel Tree locations and you can find the nearest location here.
