CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Gerald R. Ford International Airport says 2015 set a new passenger record.
Through November 2015, Ford Airport saw 2,347,424 passengers, according to a Wednesday release. That’s a 9.57 percent increase over the 2014 total of 2,335,105 — and there is still an entire month of 2015 yet to be counted.
The airport says July 2015 was its best month ever, with 234,282 passengers passing through.
And this November was the first November that the airport served more than 200,000 passengers. November saw 205,088 passengers on and off planes at Ford Airport, a 14.16 percent increase.
Ford Airport also posted record passenger numbers in 2015, 2014 and 2011.
