HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) When someone is homeless, it takes more than a roof over their head to help get them back on their feet. The Holland Rescue Mission has a new way to give people a new start: the Gateway Center.
The Gateway Center will provide real life job training as well as revenue for the ministry to be more self-sustaining. The public can engage with the Gateway Center by donating used clothing and household goods, shopping at the 30,000 sf thrift store that will be opened in 2016, and in other ways including mentoring a student or volunteering at the Gateway Center.
