M-66 in Battle Creek reopens after multiple crashes

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A busy road in Battle Creek has reopened following multiple crashes.

The Michigan Department of Transportation tweeted that northbound M-66 from Columbia Avenue (M-96) into downtown Battle Creek reopened just before 2 p.m. Friday. The road was shut down for about a half hour.

Battle Creek police tweeted that salt trucks went through, but they are still asking drivers to slow down and remain alert.

It’s unclear how many vehicles were involved or if anyone was injured.
