GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – The Kent County Prosecutor’s Office has issued a five-count warrant for a man wanted by the Grand Rapids Police Department, according to a GRPD release.
The warrant for 24-year-old Fredrick Desean Gibbs, which includes charges of assault with intent to murder, armed robbery, first-degree home invasion and two felony firearms charges, was issued Tuesday in connection with a situation that happened in August in the 1100 block of Alexander Street SE, the release said.
GRPD officers tried unsuccessfully to locate Gibbs on Dec. 21 while conducting searches at two homes on Grand Rapids’ southeast side after receiving a tip. At that time, Gibbs was wanted for perjury and absconding on parole, police said.
Anyone with information about Gibbs should contact GRPD at 616.456.3604 or Silent Observer at 616.774.2345.
