WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) Dogs are not only man’s best friend, they are treasured members of the family. Now dogs are getting more active, just like members of the family, in sports!

The Well-Mannered Dog Center has become a destination not just for daycare and boarding, but also for dog sports. They have competitions in obedience, freestyle, mushing, and flyball. The center has an arena where dogs and humans have plenty of room to practice and perform without the risk of injury.

A new round of classes begins in mid-January. Registration closes on Friday, January 8, so get signed up soon if you’re interested. The Center also holds Agility Trials January 22 through 24 as well as in February.

On March 12 and 13, the Well-Mannered Dog Center will host a freestyle competition and then the Boston Terrier Nationals on April 15 through 17.
