Soup’s back on for all

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – It’s cold outside, so let’s warm up with some soup for a good cause. It’s “Soup’s On For All!” Monday, January 25th 2016.

This fun-filled evening warms the hearts of thousands and provides meals for those who are in need. “Soup’s On For All!” invites over a thousand guests to The B.O.B. in downtown Grand Rapids. Throughout all five floors guests will be able to sample soups, breads and desserts donated by area restaurants.

Hunger is a reality every day for many in our community. This event raises more than $100,000 dollars annually for the food and pantry at God’s Kitchen, which is a program of Catholic Charities West Michigan. A hot meal is served daily at noon providing nourishment and meal time rest for anyone with no questions asked.

While supporting a great cause you can enjoy live music and entertainment. This event wouldn’t be possible without over a 100 volunteers and soup servers. WOOD TV8 is a proud sponsor for this event. Make sure you say “Hi” to the WOOD TV8 talent there.

“Soup’s On For All!” starts at 6:30 P.M. on Monday January 25th 2016 at The B.O.B. in Downtown Grand Rapids. Support God’s Kitchen and purchase your tickets here.
