GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are looking for a Newaygo man who was last seen in Grand Rapids on Sunday.

Mark Kuprel, 27, was last seen at Turning Point Salvation Army near the intersection of Fulton Street and Fuller Avenue around 9:40 p.m. on Jan. 10.

The Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office said Kuprel’s family thinks he may be “despondent” and is concerned for his well-being.

Kuprel is described as a 5-foot-11, 200-pound white male. He was last seen carrying a large green duffel bag and a bright orange backpack. He was wearing a red and black coat.

Kuprel didn’t have a vehicle, the sheriff’s office said. It’s possible he’s with someone else.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 231.689.5288.
