Johanna is an 8-year-old American Staffordshire- shepherd mix. She wants nothing more than to cuddle up to a new friend. Volunteers at the Kent County Animal Shelter said whoever adopts her will be very lucky.

Next is Hope. She’s a small Chihuahua-terrier mix who is about 8 months old and excited to join a new family.

Hope was available for adoption at the Kent County Animal Shelter Jan. 15, 2016.
