GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Nothing is better during bitterly cold weather than a nice, hot bowl of soup. There’s a fun event that lets you try delicious soups, while also helping others in your community.
Soup’s On For All! returns to the B.O.B. in Grand Rapids on Monday, January 25. Guests can sample soups, breads, and desserts donated by area restaurants.
Soup’s On benefits the food and pantry at God’s Kitchen, which is a program of Catholic Charities West Michigan. A hot meal is served daily at noon providing nourishment and meal-time rest for anyone. The program also serves people at six sponsored sites throughout West Michigan.
The event includes live music and entertainment. It all starts at 6:30 p.m. at the B.O.B. Tickets are $50 in advance or $60 at the door. Each ticket includes a hand-painted bowl.
Another Soup’s On for All event takes place on the lakeshore on Wednesday, March 2, to benefit the Muskegon food pantry. It is at 6 p.m. at Trillium Events Center in Spring Lake. Tickets are $40 per person.
