GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A park in Grand Haven Township is expanding following the sale of 40 acres of land.
Hofma Park will now include a 40-acre parcel, located in the 15000 block of Ferris Street, which will be used for a new sports field and elevated boardwalks.
NAI Wisinksi represented the Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids who sold the land to Grand Haven Charter Township, according to a release.
Hofma Park currently uses 80 acres for a soccer field, softball field, inline skating rink, playgrounds, shelter/picnic area and a 78-space parking lot. The park also includes several hundred acres of wetlands.
