The Michigan Recycling Coalition told 24 Hour News 8 it’s setting up recycling centers citywide to handle the waste.

Young’s Environmental Cleanup, a private hazardous waste clean-up company, also added a large bin for recyclables at its offices on Flint’s east side.

In addition, city officials are pushing curbside recycling service already available through Republic Services, the city’s contracted waste hauler.
