GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) A celebration of local music returns to Grand Rapids in February. The WYCE Jammies awards the best of the best in local music with a big concert.
WYCE is a non-profit radio station that’s been operating in Grand Rapids since 1987. It is run by volunteers and is supported by listeners. The station loves to put the spotlight on local music. One of the ways is with the Jammies.
The 17th annual WYCE Jammies are on Friday, February 19 at The Intersection in Grand Rapids. There will be two stages with 24 live performances and awards throughout the night. The Jammies start at 5:30 p.m. All ages are welcome; wear your pajamas! Admission is a $5 suggested donation at the door. Bring non-perishable food donations for Feeding America West Michigan.
Help support WYCE at an open house at Harmony Hall. It’s on Monday, January 25, starting at 6 p.m. One dollar of beer and 10% of food sales will go to WYCE. This event is for ages 21 and up. Harmony Hall is located at 401 Stocking Ave. NW in Grand Rapids.
