“There’s a lot of positives to take out of this game,” Griffins head coach Todd Nelson said. “We had very good chances to pop a few goals in, but we didn’t finish.”

The loss marked only the second time in the team’s 20-year history that the Griffins lost in back-to-back home games in shutouts.

The Griffins play the Marlies at home again on Friday.
