SB US-131 reopens at 44th St. after multi-vehicle crash

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — The southbound lanes of US-131 in Wyoming have reopened following a crash involving multiple vehicles.

The crash happened just before 6 a.m. Wednesday and shut down southbound US-131 at 44th Street for about a half hour.

Police told 24 Hour News 8 that six vehicles were involved in the crash, but no one was injured.

Southbound US-131 between the 54th Street and 44th Street ramps made a list of Michigan’s top 20 most crash-prone stretches when roads are snowy, icy or slushy.
