GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Grand Rapids entrepreneur was in the spotlight to pitch her product made just for women.

Sara Moylan is owner and founder of Shefit, a women’s clothing line of casual and workout gear. Shefit’s signature product is a patented adjustable technology sports bra. The bra features a two inch bust band with more than eight inches of adjustability and support. The one inch wide shoulder straps have more than 15 inches of adjustability. The bra has a zip-up front closure and strong power-mesh lining, making it totally customizable.

Moylan and her husband appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank on Friday, Jan. 29, 2016 and asked for $250,000 in exchange for 20 percent of their business. One shark was interested, but didn’t take the bait.

Daymond John, founder of FUBU, was seeking a third of the business in exchange for $250,000. After a quick deliberation, the couple accepted John’s deal.

Moylan has already been featured on The Doctors.
