KCAS Pets of the Week: Sadie and Pookie


GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD)—If you’re looking for someone dependable to spend the weekend and the rest of your life with, this week’s featured pets of the week are for you.

Sadie is a mix of Rottweiler and Labrador. She’s about a year old. Workers at the Kent County Animal Shelter say Sadie is a very affectionate girl who loves people and has lived with other dogs. She would fit in well with any family.

Next is Pookie. He’s a Chihuahua mix whose been at the shelter a couple weeks. Pookie is about a year old. He can be a little nervous at first, but once he’s warmed up to you, he loves to cuddle up in your lap.

Both Sadie and Pookie are spayed/neutered and are up-to-date on their vaccinations.
