GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — One of Tuesday’s high school girls basketball matchups featured two of the leading candidates for the Miss Basketball award: Mardrieka Cook of Muskegon and Kysre Gondrezik of Benton Harbor.

Gondrezik is averaging 40 points per game this season — a record she kept up Tuesday against Muskegon.

Cook had a quadruple-double in a win over Kenowa Hills last week and on Tuesday had a triple-double — 26 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists.

Muskegon beat Benton Harbor 76-54.
