Living well in our “encore years”

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) As we enter into different stages of our lives, we need to be mindful of making changes in all aspects of our lives and getting the most out of life. WOTV 4 Women’s newest crew member is going to help us all do just that. Jennifer Muñoz is a community organizer, activist, public speaker, and writer on issues related to older adults and the encore years. She currently is Associate State Director for AARP Michigan.

She will tackle a wide range of topics from financing, to guidance on health and wellness and tips for coping with difficult life transitions.

You can join AARP and the City of Grand Rapids for an “Age Friendly Community” Thought Leader Conversation on Tuesday, February 16th, 2016 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Kroc Center (2500 S.
