GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Former President Bill Clinton was in Grand Rapids on Friday night for a fundraising event for his wife’s presidential bid.
The event took place at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The minimum cost to get in was $500, but attendees could pay $1,500 to receive a picture with the former president.
The Clinton campaign will also be opening an office in Grand Rapids on Sunday, February 14. Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence and State Board of Education member Lupe Ramos-Montigny will be in attendance. The event runs from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The new Grassroots Organizing Office will be located at 2922 Fuller Avenue NE, Suite 114 in Grand Rapids.
