To The Point: Rep. Pscholka on proposed budget

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On this “To The Point,” Rep. Al Pscholka, R-Stevensville, the Appropriations Chairman in the House talk about a new budget that Gov. Rick Snyder has introduced. It very prominently features getting funds to Flint.

“The nice part of what the Governor proposed is this does get us over fiscal 2017. This takes us through the year of 2016 through the year of 2017 so we do have some idea,” Pscholka said.

“A lot of this was patchwork it was emergency, it was do this quickly, ok but one of the things myself and a lot of the legislators started to ask the administration was give us the midterm give us the longer term view of this so folks will have an idea.”
