ALLENDALE, Mich. (WOOD) It’s not too early to start making plans for summer camp. Registration is under way right now for a camp that bridges the generations — bringing kids grandparents together in on a college campus.

G3 stands for Grandparents, Grandkids, and Grand Valley. The summer camp is held on the campus of Grand Valley State University June 21 through 23. It is open to children ages eight through 12 and their grandparents. Together, they take part in fun and educational programs, activities, games, and experience what it’s like to stay on a college campus. There’s also a new commuter option if kids aren’t ready to stay overnight.

Registration is open now through April 29 and is available online or by mail. Scholarships are available through United Bank.
