DETROIT (AP) — Police say they found a woman dead in a bedroom closet of a home in Detroit.
Detroit Police spokeswoman Officer Jennifer Moreno says officers responded to the home Friday morning after authorities got a 911 call about family trouble and a cutting that just happened. She says police saw a large amount of blood.
MLive.com reports Saturday that the woman has been identified as 21-year-old Tiris Doss. The Wayne County medical examiner’s office says she died of a sharp force injury to her neck.
Police say officers heard someone in the back of the house and saw a man trying to escape. Moreno says the man was arrested and is a suspect in the woman’s death.
