KENT COUNTY, Mich. (WOOD) – The Kent County Sheriff Department is looking for a woman who used a stolen identity to buy thousands of dollars in iPhones.

Investigators said the woman walked into a Byron Township Sprint store and used someone else’s ID to open an account and take several iPhone 6 models worth $2,600 altogether.

Deputies said employees at two other Sprint stores in the area reported similar transactions.

Investigators have released a surveillance image of the woman, in hopes that tips from the public will help them identify her.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact the Kent County Sheriff Department Detective Bureau at 616.632.6100 ext. 6 or Silent Observer at 616.774.2345.
