Multiple homes in Grand Rapids hit by bullets

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A few homes on the southeast side of Grand Rapids were hit by bullets Monday night.

Police received reports of a shootout near the corner of Dickinson Street and College Avenue SE around 11 p.m. Monday.

When police arrived on scene, people scattered and many of them went into one home.

Several people later came out of the house willingly and authorities were able to search it.

Police told 24 Hour News 8 they found scattered shell casings and multiple homes had bullet holes.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police say they talked to several people and are still investigating.
