KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) – Two former employees are facing felony charges after investigators say they embezzled more than $100,000 from a Kentwood trucking company.

AA Transportation discovered the crime early last year, police said.

A detective discovered 24-year-old Ilderina Sakib Kajtezovic and 45-year-old Sakib Kajtezovic had been using corporate credit cards and obtaining fraudulent business loans for their own use, according to the Wednesday news release from Kentwood police.

Authorities said they arrested the pair “after a long and tedious investigation.”

They’ve been formally charged with several felonies, including embezzling more than $100,000, conspiracy to commit embezzlement more than $100,000 and using a computer to commit a crime.

The next hearing for Ilderina Sakib Kajtezovic and Sakib Kajtezovic is scheduled for Thursday.
