Police: Body found in Wyoming park; death ‘suspicious’

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say the death of a man who was found in a Wyoming park is being treated as suspicious.

The body was found at 11:19 a.m. on Saturday in Lions Park. Lions Park runs off of Clyde Park.

Authorities say a person walking their dog discovered the body in the leaves. Wyoming police says the victim, a white male, suffered trauma to his head, but could not elaborate. They say the man appears to be around the age of 18-years-old.

Police did not find any identification on the victim. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
