MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities in Muskegon County are investigating a string of armed robberies.

Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Tim Maat told 24 Hour News 8 on Friday around a half-dozen different locations across the county have been robbed this week.

Norton Shores police said it looks like it was the same person who robbed the Seaway Liquor store on W. Summit at gunpoint on Wednesday.

Thursday, the second robbery happened at the Sunny Mart on S. Getty Street in Norton Shores.

Maat said the Violent Crimes Task Force has mobilized to investigate the cases.

Anyone with information about either of the incidents is asked to call NSPD at 231.733.2691 or Silent Observer at 231.72.CRIME (27463).
