GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) History is being made as the relationship between Cuba and the United States continues to change. Ambassador Charles Shapiro served as Coordinator to Cuba and maintains many high-level connections to what’s happen there now. Tonight, he wraps up the Great Decisions Global Discussion Series.
The Great Decisions Global Discussion Series is by the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan. It highlights some of the most critical foreign issues facing the United States.
Ambassador Shapiro’s presentation, “Cuba and the U.S.: What Does the Future Hold?” will touch on Cuba, the U.S.-Cuba relationship, and life for the people in Cuba. It is on March 28 from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at the Aquinas College Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10 at the door. Parking is free!
