Finding a forever home for Stetson

Stetson the dog
Stetson running at Mackenzie's

LAKE ODESSA, Mich. (WOOD) Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary has a four-legged friend who could make your spring and summer that much more fun!

Stetson is a three year old terrier-boxer mix who has been living at Mackenzie’s for some time and really wants a forever home. He was brought into the sanctuary because his human parents got into a fight and Stetson got a broken leg after being kicked. The staff says he’s a very loyal dog and very loving.

Stetson does have some special needs because he has hip dysplasia and does get scared of new things, so a new family that is patient and willing to take baby steps with Stetson would be the best fit for him.

If you want to meet Stetson, give Mackenzie’s a call or visit their website. Their evaluation process is very thorough, so they make sure it’s a good fit for both you and the dog.
