Power restored to more than 600 near Hudsonville

More than 600 customers near Hudsonville lost power Saturday. (April 9, 2016)

GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — More than 600 homes and businesses were without power Saturday afternoon in Georgetown Township, according to the Consumers Energy outage map.

The outage affected customers north of Husonville near Port Sheldon between 72nd Avenue and 28th Avenue.

Power was restored around 6:30 p.m.

It’s unknown at this time what caused the outage shortly before 3:30 p.m.
