GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Women from all walks of life will be participating in the Gazelle Girl Half Marathon and 5K on April 17. One of the most empowering elements is that all money raised will give back to local non-profits. This year, the non-profits include Kent County Girls on the RunYWCA, G.R.O.W. and Gazelle Sports Foundation.

The Gazelle Girl Half Marathon and 5K is all about empowering women and giving back to community. On Saturday, April 16, head to the New Vintage Hall for the Gazelle Girl 2016 expotique. You can take part in the essential oils workshop, dance fitness class, yoga, shopping and a whole lot more. The Expotique is free to attend and runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
