GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Some very talented students from the fashion studies program at Kendall College of Art and Design are showing off their latest designs at a fun event!
The theme of the second annual KCAD Capstone Fashion Show is “UN.EARTH.” The show features work from all levels of KCAD’s Fashion Studies program. The theme is based on the earth’s terrain and is broken into three subcategories: peak, valley, and coast.
The event is huge for underclassmen, who display individual garments selected through a juried process. But it’s even more important for graduating seniors, who display their full capstone collections including multiple garments that are designed through a much more open process.
UN.EARTH will be held at the Grand Rapids Downtown Market on April 13 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided. Admission to the event is free, and it is open to the public, but you are strongly encouraged to RSVP through Eventbrite in order to reserve their ticket.
