Oshtemo Township man arrested for possession with intent to distribute

OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say they found “a large amount of high quality heroin” and ecstasy during a drug bust near Kalamazoo on Tuesday.

The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team says it executed a search warrant at a residence in the 3200 block of Andover Drive off Stadium Drive in Oshtemo Township as part of an investigation into heroin distribution.

The officers who searched the home said they found what they suspected was crack cocaine, the heroin, a large amount of ecstasy and heroin packaging materials.

A 34-year-old Oshtemo man was arrested at the scene and jailed on charges of possession with intent to distribute heroin, crack cocaine and ecstasy, and a charge of maintaining a drug house.
