GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) The West Michigan Savoyards are back on stage in their best Gilbert and Sullivan style with “The Mikado.”
“The Mikado” is a satirical portrait of late Victorian England society. The musical follows the characters, including the son of Mikado, who has run away to avoid having to marry an older woman who is part of the Royal Court. The story line involves love, intrigue, humor, and danger.
