ARLINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were killed early Sunday in a fiery two-vehicle crash west of the community of Glendale.

The crash happened before 5:20 a.m. on M-43 west of 46th Street in Arlington Township.

The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office says it appears a westbound Chevrolet S-10 crossed the centerline, hitting an eastbound Pontiac Aztek. The two vehicles were engulfed in flames by the time emergency responders arrived on the scene and the drivers were trapped inside.

Deputies said the drivers were killed.

On Tuesday, authorities identified the driver of the S-10 as 27-year-old Casey Aaron-Donald Snyder of Clare and the driver of the Aztek as 20-year-old Quinten Reed Greiner of Midland.

Authorities closed M-43 between 46th and 50th Streets as they investigated the crash.
