Police: BC man shot in leg; no one in custody

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — Battle Creek police are trying to figure out who shot a man early Sunday morning.

Police responded to the first block of Clair Street around 2 a.m. after receiving a report of gun shots being fired. Shortly after, authorities were told that a man arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Authorities say the 25-year-old man’s injuries were minor, and he was treated and released.

Police say they do not have any suspects, but they are investigating the case.
