GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Great Lakes region saw severe storms late Wednesday, with the worst weather traveling through Illinois and Indiana.
There were some storms in West Michigan and reports of some hail in the southern counties, though no severe weather warnings were issued. Some residents close to the Indiana state line may still see some damage caused by high winds.
The storms did cause some power outages. The number of Consumers Energy customers without power by county, according to the company’s interactive outage map as of 11:50 p.m.:

There were a few tornado warnings issued and one confirmed tornado in Illinois, west of Chicago, according to the National Weather Service.
