To The Point: 70th House District candidates

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week on “To The Point” we start looking at Decision 2016 right here at home.

There are 110 house seats and all of them are up for a vote. Many in our area are term limited. That means that current members can’t run again.

Such is the case in the 70th District, which is made up of Montcalm and part of Gratiot counties. Six Republicans are vying for their party’s nomination.

Gregory Alexander, James Lower, Charles Mulholland, Jeremy Putansu, Dale Reyburn and Michael Van Kleeck are all trying to face off with Democrat Ken Hart, who is unopposed in the primary.

You will meet the candidates in the primary race all during this June 26, 2016 episode of “To The Point.”
