Help Hope find her forever home

Dog up for adoption at Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary

LAKE ODESSA, Mich. (WOOD) Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary is the Midwest’s largest sheltered no-kill sanctuary and was founded by the Azzar family in August of 1999 after the passing of their beloved dog Mackenzie.

Hope is a sweet 2-year old Chihuahua Mix. Hope is very hopeful that someone watching right now may just have the right home for her! This little girl loves to curl up in your lap and give you lots of kisses. She likes kids who are over the age of 8 who can give her lots of extra attention as well. Kids that are too young are sometimes hard to be around for Hope because she’s so little….she only weighs eight pounds!

A home where the other dogs and cats aren’t too much bigger than her would be ideal.

Just contact them to set up a visit at their place in Lake Odessa. They’ll walk you through their adoption process and before you know it, you could have a new best friend!

To learn more about how you can meet Santino or other dogs, contact Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary at (616) 693-2490 or visit them online.

Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary also helps other dogs find homes within 150 miles of Lake Odessa and the cost of adoption is $150.
