KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are investigating after a man says he was shot while walking down a street in Kalamazoo.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to Bronson Hospital around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday after a 19-year-old Kalamazoo man showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm.
The man told officers that he was walking on Alamo Avenue, between Denner Street and Fox Ridge Drive, when he suddenly heard three shots and then realized that he had been hit in the arm.
Officers searched the area but did not find any additional evidence or suspects.
