GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) West Michigan is very fortunate to have businesses that support so many wonderful things happening in the community. DTE Energy is stepping up in a big way this summer.

DTE strives to be a part of the community where they live and serve. Among the programs in which it is involved includes First Robotics, GrandJazzFest, and ArtPrize. DTE Chief Operating Officer Mark Stiers is also on the board of directors at The Right Place in Grand Rapids. DTE works with United Way of the Lakeshore for its Summer Jobs Program, which helps students ages 16 to 19 in Muskegon, Muskegon Heights, Baldwin, and Big Rapids find summer employment.
