MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WOOD) — One person was killed and another hurt in a crash in Muskegon Heights early Saturday morning.
It happened around 1 a.m. on Hoyt Street near Hovey Avenue, according to the Muskegon Heights interim police chief.
Authorities say the driver crashed into a legally parked semi-truck.
The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Michigan State Police is helping in the crash investigation.
